Encryption

The Encryption module protects your payment data in the background, so it’s secure both inside and outside of Autopay Online Plus.

Encryption renders the personal data within payment files unintelligible, so it’s not at risk of unauthorised access. This reduces the risk that the data is exposed to breaches and/or potential fraud.

When Encryption is used with Drive, which enables you to automatically upload data files from your accounting software to the solution, a file is encrypted and then uploaded into the solution automatically. This ensures the payment file is fully protected at every link in the chain through your systems and networks before upload.

To allow Autopay Online Plus to accept encrypted files you must enable the Enable encrypted File Import on the File import tab for a collection or payment profile, see Collection profiles and Payment profiles.
